You will call it an outdated phone that is long gone and beaten to a pulp by other more capable and faster smartphones, but I will beg to differ. Reason… simply because it depends on your needs. Let me make one thing very clear, I have gone on to other more advanced phones, but I know of one person who uses the Moto G Turbo edition and is absolutely delighted with it.
Now this person, does not have massive mobile phone needs, like gaming or watching movies or music etc. He needs the phone for calling, email, surfing and bank transactions. He tells me that the Moto G Turbo is the most robust and friendly smartphone he has used till date. Albeit he isn’t much of a smartphone enthusiast and has not used too many phones.
STURDY AND ROBUST
However, I have used the Moto G Turbo edition for some time and I will tend to agree with his assessment. The Moto G Turbo edition is a sturdy and full featured smartphone that will perfectly fulfill all the essential mobile phone and internet needs of a semi-heavy mobile user kind of person. It has Gorilla glass, is water and dust proof (IP67 certified) and has a good operating system and processor.
Just to let you know the exact Moto G Turbo edition I am talking about, it is the one with 16 GB storage and 2 GB RAM. If this sounds like too less for you, then it is. This phone is meant for the semi heavy user with no desire to flash the phone or do fancy things with it. A good solid smartphone experience with all the conveniences and none of the unnecessary fluff.
RELIABLE AND FRIENDLY
The speed is good and the reliability is awesome. The Moto G Turbo edition will rarely fail you. It won’t hang and it won’t blank out. It won’t get affected by a splash of water or sweat or a fall to the floor. It has a simple pure android interface and UI and it runs very smoothly as long as it isn’t bloated with additional apps.
The display is of a perfect kind of size, somewhere in between the very large screen and the medium sized screens. It takes good quality photographs, and is easy to focus and click with the camera. An easy fit into your palm and also reasonably comfortable on your pocket. You will not spend your time worrying about what will happen if it gets lost all the time. It is like a good solid friend who will bail you out in every situation. I don’t know first hand but many people have told me that the Moto E3 Power is in the same league but priced a little lower. You can have a look at it too and see if it has the same strengths as the Moto G Turbo edition.
Let’s have a quick look at the specifications of the phone. Though I feel that the Moto G turbo edition is not really about specifications but being a comfortable fit with your lifestyle and needs. It isn’t showy, it is sleek and elegant, it isn’t superfast but it is reliable, robust and friendly. It has a beautiful back which is subtly grooved and gives you a good and easy grip on it.
