Since its entry into the Indian smartphone market, Xiaomi has never ceased to create surprises and joy for the smartphone lovers of India. What’s really cool about this brand which is termed as the ‘Apple’ of China is its commitment towards manufacturing good phones with good features and that too at a decent price. Moreover, Xiaomi has made it a point to not just cater to a certain target audience and has ensured that it manufactures phones for each and every kind of consumer. From its flagship MI5 to its budget-oriented Redmi series phones, this Chinese smartphone company knows how to create a unique place for itself in one of the biggest smartphone markets in the world.

What is also worth mentioning and for which Xiaomi deserves an applause from every marketing pundit is the kind of dynamic graph it follows when it comes to selling different phones falling under different price brackets. So, when Xiaomi last launched its flagship smartphone in India, the MI5, it also came a year later to bring, what can be considered as one of the best budget smartphone currently in the market which the Redmi 4A.

Although, it was expected that Xiaomi would launch all of its Redmi 4 phones but what we saw was one single phone. After all, throwing surprises has been the way for Xiaomi in India.

Talking about Xiaomi’s new Redmi 4A, the first that comes to mind and something which really impresses me is its full metal body. I mean, can you imagine that a phone that comes at a price of just Rs. 5999 is offering its owner the opportunity to lay his hands on a phone that has the elegant look of any costly smartphone. Not only this, the phone also comes with a relatively 64-bit 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card. It comes with 4G VoLTE support which is quite a brownie point for the phone taking in consideration the fact that after the emergence of Jio network, smartphone users in India are dying to gain permanent access to a phone that is affordable with good specs.

Coming to the display of Redmi 4A, it has a 5-inch 720p HD display that provides good viewing experience. A smaller display ensures that the phone remains easy to use in day-to-day life.

In terms of camera, Redmi 4A comes with 13 mp rear camera along with autofocus and flash which will definitely click good photos with better clarity and best color representations as was seen in older Redmi 3 phone. On the front, you get a 5 mp snapper that is decent enough to click nice selfies.

The battery of Redmi 4A is 3,120mAh one that will easily last for a whole working day in a single charge since the screen size of the phone is only 5 inch.

Verdict

Xiaomi’s new Redmi 4A is easily a steal deal for those people who wants a phone that is good looking, powerful and cheap. Currently, in the market, I don’t see any other smartphone in this price bracket challenging this beautiful budget gem.
